Psychotic Reaction

A song on my mind today, I don't know why:

I feel depressed, I feel so bad
'Cause you're the best girl that I ever had
I can't get your love, I can't get a fraction
Uh-oh, little girl, psychotic reaction
it feels like this!
[Instrumental break]
I feel so lonely night and day
I can't get your love, I must stay away
I need you girl, by my side
Uh-oh, little girl, would you like to take a ride, now
I can't get your love, I can't get satisfaction
Uh-oh, little girl, psychotic reaction

Allergic Reaction

Well, I've never had any allergies ever but I'm thinking that I do now. I keep having these damn sneezing fits and other cold symptoms but then they go away as fast as they appear. Wicked weird. Today though it seemed to be worse so I think it really is a cold or flu, not too bad just annoying.
I took a package from an attorney's office to the Superior Court in Cambridge where I was supposed to get some papers stamped and returned to their office which is not unusual, but somebody forgot to sign something so I had to go back and forth twice. That took up most of my afternoon and I charged them accordingly. The lawyers will probably just pass their mistake on to the client anyway.
Then I only did 3 jobs the rest of my shift, a young waitress going to work and then two commuters heading home from the T. Its still really slow out there 0n the streets. Recession? You tell me.
Well anyway, even though money is tight I had some work done on my car. The brake lights weren't working so I got that taken care of.

Looking forward to seeing Lenny Kravitz later this week at the Orpheum Theatre with my special friend Christine. I don't care what anybody says, Kravitz rocks!

Why do you ask?

I'm house-sitting this weekend for my sister, just feeding the 2 dogs and letting them out and such. There's a cat around here somewhere too but she's been hiding for her entire life.

Abner and Blue

Work has been going pretty well. Wednesday and Thursday were both busy days and I dispatched Friday night and that's guaranteed money. So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.
What do people do on weekends? I never know what do. Guess I'll take a cat nap.

Molly

Got a pizza for dinner. Domino's. It was a little 'off'. This high def TV is great but I have to go in the other room to change the channel. It sucks because like most lazy shits I like to just sit there and use the clicker. Its barbaric man.
Well, I have to feed the cat and take the fish for a walk.
Peace to you my friends.

Nice Pace

I like my new hours, they seem more natural for me. Its a nicer pace and the money is a little better too. I had 3 airport runs in a row to start the day, all 3 really cool good tipping people. The 1st one was a lady going to Calgary for 1 day and then home to San Fransisco.
Then I picked up a very nice woman coming home to cold rainy Boston from Florida. She wasn't very talkative but thats cool.
Next I went back to Logan and picked up a young lady who works for Titleist, the golf ball people. Before today I didn't know that the balls are made in New Bedford. Did you? She is originally from Foxboro and we found out we know a couple of the same people. Her mom actually sold the land that Bob Kraft needed to construct the new stadium access road.
I stopped for a couple slices and a diet Pepsi at Town Pizza and went down to check out the Plaza. That's one of the places we go fishing for fares when the phone isn't ringing.
Steve and Jeff were already there and then Jake swung over too so I went over to the X (logan express bus stop) and talked to Bert for a few minutes. Billy gave me a nice $20 run from Randolph to East Braintree but the dude was low on cash and asked me to drop him off when the meter hit 21.50 but I said hey no worries. Whats an extra block or 2.
Then I sat in the T (subway station) for about an hour playing sudoku on my cell phone, did just one more 9 dollar job and wrapped it up at about 10pm. I could have hung in for a while
but it seemed like the rush was over.
Did a little quick shopping on the way home, needed some t.p. among other things. Oh well, who cares. Good night and good luck.

So, anyways

Been playing chess against the computer and I am now chess master. Of my domain.
Well, I'm still at level 1 and it goes up to ten but soon I'll be a genius.
If i were to have a hobby it'd be chess: attending tournaments, receiving awards etcetera.
So anyways, you'll have heard by now that your New England Patriots will participate in Super Bowl 42! The whole country hates us. Who cares.
We went to the Championship Game yesterday, man was it cold. Great time though! Thanks go out to the San Diego Chargers for a good match.
New England is a 2 touchdown favorite to win its forth Lombardi Trophy in 7 years and complete the first 19-0 season in history. But you knew that.

I had 2 dogs. Fenway Franks. Sweet.

Unusual weather we're havin', ain't it?

January thaw feels wicked good. I gots spring fever!
Not much goin' on today. Work was slow again but I'm gonna pull a double tomorrow to make up for it. 7am to 1am, 18 hours with a few hours off in the middle for good behavior. I know it sounds crazy but the bills don't pay themselves. Its not brain surgery after all.
Goodbye for now my friends.

Could Winter be over? Ya gotta love this global warming.
Look at that that clear blue Kenmore Square sky. Imagine the Sox winning another one!

God and Water

Yesterday I drove a guy to the bus station he was on his way to Manchester. His job is to pick up cars at certain locations and drive them usually long distances, mostly for executives. he was getting $500 to drive from there to Minneapolis. most of the gas and hotel costs are covered. Man, i would really like to try that. I went on line just now and filled out an application. That'd be different.
He must have told me 3 or 4 times that he is an independent contractor. I think people like to say that. Try it out, its a good way to begin a sentence.

It was wicked slow today so I had talked with some of the other drivers. I had a continuation of an ongoing conversation with a co-worker which often includes such topics as physics, religion, insane animated TV shows, and girls with pigtails. This time we got into the subjects of God and the unusual properties of water.

Later I drove a regular customer to his cancer treatment and waited for him because its usually pretty quick in there. That treatment really kicks your ass. Such a nice dignified old timer we talked a little about the New Hampshire primary (he likes John McCain) and about the Patriots chances this weekend. he's a little worried about the Jags running game. I'm not.

Work, sleep, repeat

New Years resolution? Nah. I'll take it month by month. For January my plan is to work as many hours as humanly possible and get a little ahead on the old bills. Some of 'em really are getting pretty old.
Well, as time goes on I'll reveal more about my self. I'll start by telling you that I seem to have this anxiety thing that sort of forces me into low paying low esteem unfulfilling jobs like cab driving.
I'll talk about the people I meet there and their stories and general tales of weirdness.
The second part is to use this space to talk about how I got to this place in space and time starting from when I can remember.
